We are leaving on Saturday to go to Hunting Island. I am the most excited kid in the world! I don't think that most kids get excited about spending two weeks in a tent, using public showers, getting chased by mosquitoes, being chased by raccoons, and looking out for the jelly fishes. I do.

There are things that make all of the above things so worth it. Otis Spunkmeyer Double Chocolate Chip Muffins if you are on ice duty in the morning, walking across the entire island just so that you can say that you did it, fishing off the pier and giving the baby sharks you catch a little kiss and throwing them back into the ocean, push ups (the frozen treats, not the exercise) in the evenings, waking up early to be the first to get the good sea shells, late night walks on the beach, hanging out with boys because most girls find us too odd, meeting great people, making fun of the not so great people that you meet, and The Best Chicken Sandwich On The Face Of The Earth!
